DIY Perler Bead Hair Bows Tutorial from Hello Whimsy Blog here. Perler beads are so cheap and you can iron them together to make pins, coasters, etc… This is a really good post on using Perler beads.
I love arts and crafts-ting. I love being inspired. I have been in love with this whale painting for a while, but I decided to change up the colors a bit!

Farah Tamachi’s senior thesis is a six-foot-tall wall installation filled with rich flourishes and generously luscious type– all crafted in the humble medium of corrugated cardboard. The 3D type protrudes crisply from the wall, bearing the words, “Discovery ignites the passion to create.”
This elegant execution of 3D type in script is what sets it apart from the everyday, blocky, sans-serif paper type that we see quite often. The edges and textures of each letter almost invite you to touch them, with the combination of sharp edges and rounded curves.
“I said to my soul be still, and wait without hope; for hope would be hope of the wrong thing; wait without love, for love would be love of the wrong thing; there is yet fath. But the faith, and the love, and the hope are all in the waiting. Wait without thought, for you are not ready for thought: so the darkness shall be the light, and the stillness the dancing.”These are available for purchase at www.etsy.com/shop/DarknessShallBeLight (:

The project I just (finally) completed, where I took my old, abused copy of Sense and Sensibility and an old clutch, and combined them, making a hidden clutch inside a book! Love this idea, because it means I get to keep my old book, in a new way, and because it’s adorable and easy.
